The most popular food reality show has finally returned to TV. Hell’s Kitchen Season 21 features several chefs who will take on rigorous challenges, all while trying to stay on Gordon Ramsay’s good side.
Everything to Know About Hell’s Kitchen Season 21
Fans have repeatedly watched contestants fight for the Hell’s Kitchen Throne, but each season brings something new to the (dinner) table. In season 20, contestants were placed in teams, divided by genders. Executive Chef Trenton Garvey is the most recent winner of the cutthroat series.
Season 21 premieres a similar format with 18 new chefs. According to the title, Hell’s Kitchen Season 21 is a food war between the Blue Team, which consists of new generation chefs in their 20s and the Red Team, which consists of veteran chefs in their 40s. This season differs since any other since contestants under 20, in their 30s and over 49 were unable to audition.
“At stake is a life-changing grand prize, including a Head Chef position at Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas and the title of Hell’s Kitchen winner,” says FOX’s official synopsis.
Season 21 Premieres on September 29
Similar to the past season, Hell’s Kitchen season 21 was filmed in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, unlike the previous series, the cooking reality series was shot exclusively at the Hell’s Kitchen restaurant.
Production for the cooking show kicked off last winter. At the time, casting details revealed that applicants were required to be free from late January to early March 2022. The filming took place over three weeks within the time frame. Additionally, the program implemented a COVID-free plan, quarantining the cast prior to the actual production.
We’re excited to see this show return to FOX for it’s next exhilarating season. This season seems to be spicer than ever, so we can’t wait to see how contestants will handle the pressure instilled by Gordon Ramsay. The competition show premieres on Thursday, September 29, at 8 pm ET/PT on Fox.
